Jolla Smartphones Arriving in India, to be sold via SnapDeal

Jolla, a Smartphone maker brand established in Finland by many Ex-Nokia Employees, is going to launch their first smartphone in india. Many indians are still unaware of this company. The vision of this company is very clear. They want to create beautiful smartphones and a marvelous Operating system. They tried well with Sailfish OS. The UX of Sailfish OS is great, simple and better than any other smartphone OS. Jolla partnered with SnapDeal to sell their smartphones in india. We are not sure but the first smartphone will cost Rs. 28,500/- means  approx. 349 Euros. The price is too high for the new smartphone company who is entering in indian smartphone industry. We can buy a Samsung Galaxy S4 or any other high end Android based smartphone in this price range.

Jolla Smartphones Specifications:-

If we look specification-wise, Jolla Smartphones will have 4.5 inch qHD display with Gorilla Glass 2 Protection, 1.4 GHz dual-core qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 8 Megapixel of Front camera and 2 Megapixel of Rear camera, 16 GB internal storage capacity which is expandable upto 32 GB. Also, this smartphone will come bundled with 1 GB of RAM, 2,100 mAh of battery and 4G LTE support. But with almost exact specifications, Xiaomi is offering their flagship device Mi3 in Rs. 14,000/- . This specifications are really not suitable for the smartphone in Rs. 28,500/- . Jolla smartphones will run on SailFish OS, and company will provide regular monthly updates to it's OS.

Jolla smartphones has awesome mix of great hardware and beautiful software, but they will face very hard time in India. Jolla is a new company and has no virtual or Physical support for their smartphones. There is not a single customer service center in india. They should setup their customer service center and Reduce the price of their smartphones. There are new companies like Xiaomi, Asus, Gionee, Micromax, etc. Who are desperate to take control of indian smartphone industry and also big players like Nokia and Samsung already occupied large stake here.

I will say it twice, Jolla will face hard time here, in India. They have to create Customer service outlets, Reduce the price of overrated device to sustain this stiff competition. If you want to Buy Jolla Phone , wait till they reduce it's price. This is only we can say about Jolla.
