Install CyanogenMod ROM on Android [Without Rooting]

Having custom ROM installed on your android device is really good.  Having custom ROM helps you to high performance of your android device. Cyanogenmod is a custom ROM for android which is developed by Cyanogen Developers. It is available for supported devices. Normally, for installing any custom ROM, you need to root your android device. But, thanks to developers at Cyanogen, they developed a one app which can easily install cyanogenmod OS on android. Using this app, you can easily install this ROM on android in minutes.  You can install cyanogenmod without rooting your device via this app.

Install CyanogenMod on Android

For installing cyanogenmod ROM, you need following things.

1) Cyanogen supported Android device

2) Cyanogenmod installer app on android

3) Windows powered PC

4) Cyanogenmod installer software on PC



If you have all these things ready, enable USB Debugging mode enabled. You can enable it from settings>>developer options>> enable USB debugging.

After performing above mentioned steps, run the installer app on your android device first. After opening app, follow on screen instructions. Now, you'll be asked to run installer App on PC. Connect your android device with PC via USB cable and run installer app on pc. The software will detect your device and now you can proceed for installation. Now, the installer software will download necessary files and kernels for your device. It may take some time for download.  It depends on your Internet speed. Click on 'Install' and installation will start on your device.  While installation completes, your android device will reboots several times. And remember, not to remove mobile from PC while 'Installation complete' message appears on your PC. When you see ' Installation Complete' message, you can enjoy brand new operating system installed on your android device.

If you are facing any problem while booting device, Called as bootloop, you have to one simple step.  You have to go to Android recovery mode be pressing volume up + power+ home button.  Now you'll see a recovery interface. There, select "wipe data/factory reset".  This will reset your device and phone will restart normally.

That's it.  Now you can enjoy your new cyanogenmod ROM on Android.
